Intelligent Battery Solution

The IBS Dual Battery system protects against starter battery failure on vehicles fitted with auxiliary batteries.

When fitted, the IBS system ensures that when the vehicle is running both batteries are charging. In the event of high power usage whilst the vehicle is not running, the starter battery is protected from excessive drain so that it remains in a condition that will allow it to start the vehicle.

Additionally, should the starter battery prove to be defective, the system will allow starting of the vehicle from the auxiliary battery. The system is available with or without battery state display, the former allowing a manual override of the system for battery switching.
